2 X Temporary part-time positions until 5 April 2010. 22 hours per week, Friday's to Monday's, 2.00pm to 8.30pm and public holidays (previously advertised hours of 5pm - 11pm are incorrect).
We are currently seeking two Cleansing Operator/Technicians to join the Waste Services Unit of Council, working around Cronulla Esplanade and surrounding areas.
The purpose of this position is to maintain Council's assets and facilities to a best practice level of cleanliness and hygiene. You will be customer focused and ensure all work is carried out in an efficient and effective manner as well as complying with all practices and procedures of Council's Occupational Health & Safety plan.
Mandatory qualifications and essential experience: Drivers Licence Class C; previous experience in public place or building cleaning; able to tow trailer.

An opportunity exists for a Trainee Superintendent – Estimates to join the Civil Operations Unit of Sutherland Shire Council.
The purpose of the position involves the development of Civil Construction Programs, Schedules of Resources and Cost Estimates to meet good occupational health &safety practice; good environmental practice; good standards of workmanship; program & project schedules; cost competitive budgets.
Mandatory qualifications:
Civil Construction & Maintenance Certificate level 4, Diploma in Construction Management or equivalent coupled with a minimum of 5 years relevant industry experience or completion of at least year 3 of a 4 year degree in Civil Engineering with relevant industry experience and continuing enrolment in the course on a part time basis; Workcover OHS Industry Induction (formerly greencard); Class 1A driver's Licence.
