Draft Sutherland Shire Local Environmental Plan 2006 (Amendment 8)

Exhibition of Draft Sutherland Shire Local Environmental Plan 2006 (Amendment 8) has now closed.  The results of the public exhibition will be considered by council in due course.

The draft plan aims to:

• add a heritage item to Schedule 6
• amend the definition of gross floor area & insert the definition of basement
• rezone land inadvertently zoned as road
• rezone land no longer required for community purposes
• rezone land to facilitate access to a public reserve
• reclassify land from community land to operational land
• confirm the operational classification of some Council land.
