Loan Renewals
or read on for step-by-step instructions to renewing your loans Online, In Person or by Telephone.
The Library allows you to renew your loans up to a maximum of 3 times. Renewals are granted for 3 weeks from the date of renewal.
Renewals are not permitted:
(a) via email
(b) on items that have been reserved by other borrowers.
(c) via the Internet if you have any items overdue.
(d) via the Internet for items obtained through the interlibrary loans service from sources outside the Sutherland Shire Libraries.
You can renew your loans in any of the following 3 ways:
Online
- Click on the Renew Now! button at the top of this page.
- Enter the Barcode number of your Library card and your personal PIN.
- Click on the checkbox beside each title that you wish to renew.
- Click on the Renew button.

In Person
Staff can renew your loans at any Branch Library in the Sutherland Shire. You do not need to bring your books to the Library to have them renewed, however, if any items can not be renewed for the reasons outlined above, you will need to return them by the due date to avoid overdue charges.

By Telephone
During Opening Hours:
Telephone the Library on 9710 0351 during opening hours and follow the prompts to renewals and overdue enquiries.
